For all keto dieters, breakfast can be a real challenge. Finding a breakfast option that wont boot you straight out of ketosis can be incredibly difficult. This is why Allergy Test are here with an easy, tasty recipe that will keep those ketones flowing and wont trip you up. This recipe requires two days of marinating for ideal flavour but can be prepared to be cooked immediately.

Ingredients

pork keto

1/2 teaspoon of sage
1/4 teaspoon of marjoram
1/4 teaspoon of thyme
1/4 teaspoon of coriander
1 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 pound of ground pork
2 tablespoons of water

Method

Add the ground pork to a mixing bowl and break it up. one by one, add and mix the water, herbs and spices to the pork and mix thoroughly until completely blended together. Shape the mixture into patties about an inch thick and place them into airtight containers. Refrigerate for two to three days, giving the flavour a chance to get into the pork. They can be cooked immediately, but taste much better when given time to marinate.

When you’re ready to cook, place the required number of patties under the grill on a pre-heated, moderate temperature for 5 minutes on each side. Top with your favourite cheese and serve alongside an egg cooked to your preference to really get those fats that your keto diet needs. If you don’t cook all of the patties in one sitting you can always freeze them. If you really enjoy them, why not prepare a few batches and freeze them so you can have them whenever you like?
